2005 updates soon
The 2003 NEDTS race season ended on a very good note. My Bettencourts Honda/Suzuki,
Sideways Promotions, Torco Race Oils/ Fuels Deathrage backed Honda CRF450 led
me to a 250 Amt. Championship! The season started out very strong. I was very
confident in my riding ability and my equipment. We mostly raced at Jolly Roger
Motorsports Park this year. The track surface was changed from the year before.
The track was nice in practice but as the night grew old the track changed and
became very rough. Through out the season I had some different problems with
bikes either blowing up or being to broken or bent to use. One situation will
probably stick in my head for years to come. It was the double header at Jolly
Roger. The night before I won the 250 amt. And the open amt. Class. The following
day during my 250 heat, I was running in 4th place and I came out of turn 4
completely sideways and the front wheel caught traction and broke the bead on
the from tire. This sent me end over end 2 or 3 times. I got up and checked
myself over quick and decided that I was going to get my bike started. It turns
out the front wheel, subframe and bars were to bent to race with. Vinny from
the AKA Paint Doctor allowed me to finish out the day on his 450. That day I
won the 250 amt. class and I got 2nd with a hard fought race in the open amt.
That is a crash you don't forget. My plan for the 2004 season is to get my Pro
Sport license. This allows me to race on an expert level. I am very confident
about this season. I'm excited about racing side by side with people I look
up to. Roger Durkee, Aaron Creamer, Bob Weiss and all the other top level riders.
For the 2004 race season I've signed on with some new sponsors: Spy Optics,
Arai Helmets, No Fear, Sprocket Specialists, Motion Pro, K&N Air filters.
As for 2003 it turned out to be a great year both
on and off the track. Id like to thank all the people who have helped me achieve
everything i've wanted to do. Bettencourts Honda/Suzuki, Sideways Promotions,
Wachusett Valley Riders, Torco Racing Oils/Fuels, Deathrage, Vinny D., Mom &
Dad, Leo & Dee, The Mansuos, The Harvey's.
I'd like to put out a special thanks to Pete &
Connie Giammalvo. Thank you for believing in me and never giving up on me. I
appreciate everything you guys have done for me. Without you two, I wouldn't
be where I am today without you two. I hope we have many more fun times together.

In the 2001 race season I was racing a Honda CR125 that Bernie McKenna
owned and let me use for the season. The season was very long and I was running out of
races to catch up the points chase.I ended the season in 3rd place in the 125 class. My
top finishes were a 1st place win at one of the last races of the season. That weekend we
had a double header. We raced Saturday night and Sunday afternoon. Saturday night in the
125 class I won my heat and then in the feature i got the holeshot and never looked back.
I took the win and i was happy because that was my first win that season. Sunday afternoon
I raced the 125 class and tried my luck in the 250 class. Brian McKenna let me use his
Honda CR250 and i went out in practice and felt good on it. That was my first time racing
that bike i have raced a 250 before but not this one. In the 125 class I won my heat and
in the feature I didnt choose a very good spot on the line and I didnt get the holeshot
and I tried everything to get around him but it didnt work. As we came around I saw that
we had 1 lap to go I knew that i had to come in that turn as hard as i could and get back
on the gas before him and as i was coming out of turn 4 I flinched and by the time i got
the bike straight again he already crossed the finish line. He beat my by about 1 or 2
wheel lengths. In the 250 class i was on the front row and i didnt get off the line very
fell but I was in 2nd to last place and i couldnt get by the other guy in front of me well
I ended up in 6th place in that race. In the end of the year I was 9th in the 250 class. I
couldnt have done this without some great sponsors!
