The picture above is from Sept at wvr. Hoppa took the Buell
to first in the 50+ class. The revamped Blast took a 3rd at Mototown
last March in the Sportsman class with James Rispoli. Bill Payer
got a second in The Dash for Cash at the Brockton Fair. Hoppa won
the 50+ class at Northhampton Ma monster truck show.We have gotten
the bike working well and reliable thanks to Pete Trick at Trick
Racing in Winchendon MA. Pete builds many motors for the top new
england riders. His location makes it ideal because after dynoing
we are able to drive 5 minutes to test at WVR.
I have had to put the Blast on the back burner to rebuild WVR the
last 3 years while we rebuilt our membership. Things are improving
and I'm ready to go to the next level on the motor. I've got some
things I'm putting together and a rider for the program. With the
right program we plan to put the Blast on the podium in the Pro-Sport
class at Rochester N.H. and Monticello N.Y. To be a part of this
exciting project contact Pete Giammalvo, Sideways Promotions. 978-874-1732

The Blast project has run into some problems early in the season.
Mainly lack of money! We got an XB9 head and and assorted goodys but
lack of money and commitment to The NEDTS series put a damper on the
project. Along the way I got hooked up with Frank at V-Twin Cycles
in Rochester N.H. Frank and the boys are now putting together some
combinations we feel will get the horsepower we need to finish the
season. The off season will see the motor come completly apart. I
can't thank Frank for stepping up to the plate with sponsoring the
Bl.ast. Check out his website www.vtwincycle.com or call him 603-330-1010

We finished 5th overall in The New England Dirt Track Series Open
Expert this season! Thru consistency and perserverance The Blast finished the season with
a year end trophy. Along the way we learned a great many things about chassis setup and
gearing. We have the motor apart to see what improvements can be done in the bottom end
and have a list of items ordered for the top end. When done we expect 56 horsepower of out
her. Improvements on the rest of the bike will be forthcoming.
I want to Thank the rider Matt Cyr from Milton VT. He has shown a
commitment to not only the bike but the complete race program. We are having a Blast
racing the bike. The interest at shows and the races is incredible!

It is running. We are experimenting with different ignitions and carbs.
We have ordered a 26 tooth motor sprocket and different primary chain as the bike is
geared for the bonneville salt flats.
I lost some info (Buell pictures) and when I get them resent they will be posted.
The planned debut is Oct 5 Saturday night at Jolly Roger Motorsport Park.
Some of the go fast stuff won't be on it but we'll dial the handling in and have her
rippin for next spring!
